As a youth, many of her relatives, as well as herself, dealt with various skin conditions, like eczema and acne. These issues often created embarrassment and lack of confidence, and she never wanted others to have these same feelings. As a dermatologist and laser technician, she finds it gratifying and fulfilling to see a patient’s transformation after a treatment. Not just physically but mentally and emotionally, as well. Beautifying patients is her passion. Even though beauty goes beyond the surface level, when a person looks good on the outside, they feel good on the inside, and this is the most rewarding part of the profession.
Outside of her busy work schedule, Dr. Mel has multiple hobbies like watching Korean TV series on Netflix, cooking and trying different cuisines from around the world (Food is her love language), gardening, travelling, and most recently she’s into kickboxing.
I love serving people. I enjoy making my patients look and feel good about themselves in every way. Witnessing the major transformation in them is highly fulfilling. It is the best feeling in the world. Seeing my patient happy and satisfied has always been my top priority in this job. When my patients are happy and satisfied, we develop a close relationship, which leads to loyalty and a positive reputation. As a result, more clients come to me, and I am able to help these individuals, as well.
